Destiny House Group Home 

Our program is tailored to deal with the particular difficulties and needs of at risk girls. Issues such as anger management, self confidence, and building trust, requires a different approach. Our program is designed to help girls develop healthy ways to learn and interact. When girls are ready, we carefully supervise joint activities that help them safely and smartly transition to a less structured environment at home.

We Provide A Nurturing Environment

 love is central in restoring and educating at risk girls. Our home provides a safe and loving environment for girls to learn. Our staff not only provides supervision, but emotional, and educational support for each resident; allowing girls to explore who they are and learn without giving up. Frequent group meetings encourage girls to work together toward shared goals.

Our Therapeutic Approach to Healing

All girls participate in individual therapy, and therapy in groups. Girls work one-on-one with therapists to deal with personal trials. They then live and work socially to learn strategies for lifelong success. By living out, and not only talking through their feelings, girls discover for themselves the power to engage with their families, their feelings, and their future.

Our programs are designed to keep girls safe while in our home and help them discover the best ways to live when they are ready to move on. 

 

Destiny House  is located in a safe and secure environment with space for outdoor therapeutic recreation and activities; such as gardening, cycling, and art therapy. 

Through holistic care programs we help girls heal emotionally, physically, and help them learn to hope again!

At our home, girls receive:
